DESCRIPTION:Mount Vernon Music's annual Gala fundraiser returns to MVM Hall on\n\nSaturday\, September 21 with an Equinox Block Party to kick off MVM's\n\nfourteenth season. The public is invited to savor the tastes and sounds of\n\nNew Orleans with the energetic music of the Razzmajazz Dixieland jazz\n\nband and catered dinner by Chef Cristal Castillo. Well stocked beverage\n\nstations will assure that no one is thirsty\, and there will be an expertly\n\nguided Scotch whisky tasting. Participants in a silent auction to benefit\n\nMVM's Youth Outreach and Scholarship programs will enjoy the\n\nconvenience of online bidding\, and attendees can enter a drawing to win a\n\nnew pair of noise canceling headphones. Ticketholders are invited to meet\n\nand mingle with appetizers and champagne from 6:00   7:00 pm.\n\nAdmission is $50.
