First Responders "In the Line of Duty" Memorial Monument Dedication Ceremony

The event will be held at the east steps of the Titus County Courthouse. We will be honoring those members of Law Enforcement who died in the Line of Duty, either native of Titus County or who were serving within Titus County.  2015 Honorees, Theodore A. Tedford, Dallas Mounted Police Officer (EOW-1912) and brother Alexander W. Tedford, Dallas Police Officer (EOW-1927), both born in Titus County. Members of the Tedford family from the Dallas area, including a great great granddaughter are planning to attend. According to Dallas PD Museum contact Officer Roderick Janich, officers of the Dallas PD, Color Guard and Museum are planning to attend. Titus County Tedford family members have yet to respond. Select MPISD Student Band Members will conclude with playing "Echo TAPS". The dedication will begin at 10:00 am at the East parking lot. Public is invited.
