Light Up A Life Ceremony with Cypress Basin Hospice

 

Cypress Basin Hospice recognizes the importance of remembering loved ones during the holiday season. Though their physical presence is apart from us, their spirits live in our hearts forever. Light Up A Life is an annual donation campaign that gives families the opportunity to remember their loved ones and provide a continued legacy of care in their honor. Your donation in memory of your loved one will be used directly towards our community care patients and will allow Cypress Basin Hospice to continue delivering quality, end of life care, to all hospice appropriate patients regardless of their ability to pay. Your support will play a vital role in helping others by providing comfort, care, and compassion.

 

"When we talk to people about our experience with the Cypress Basin Hospice team, it is described as being "visibly invisible". Their full team of support was always there without having to be visibly there, yet we knew they were only a call or visit away. During those days when Popee (Ray Kerr) needed us most, they educated us to "Don't Do, Just Be". Just be there with him and love him as they loved and supported us, and that there will be plenty of time for us to "do" after he didn't need us to "be". They did and continue to exceed our expectations with continued bereavement support. Our gratitude for them helping Popee live life comfortably can never be repaid in words or actions other than us continuing to support them as they support our community. We appreciate Cypress Basin Hospice from our hearts, because they took care of him from theirs."

Your donations will help families, much like Gail, Amber, and Popee experience the blessing of hospice care. Your donation of $10 or more will symbolically light a light on our tree that will be displayed on the square in downtown Mount Pleasant. Your loved one you are remembering did not have to be on service with Cypress Basin Hospice to be honored through this campaign.
